Online figure VeryDarkMan clamors for action against the arrest of Raheem Okoya, an epiphany of the local laws regarding the misuse of the naira, accentuating that nobody has to be exempt from statutory law.

In six-minute video shared on X (formerly Twitter), he reacted to a clip viral all over the internet that showed Raheem Okoya, son of Rasaq Okoya, the billionaire in Nigeria misusing the naira in the view of a policeman.

Although the police officer in the video has been arrested, Raheem Okoya has not yet faced any legal action for his actions.

VeryDarkMan showed all his vexation in the video rays of the mind, emphasizing that any person’s case shall be the same in the law, irrespective of ranks.

He also mentioned that the police officer in the case was arrested, while Raheem Okoya faced no consequences.

VeryDarkMan also mentioned that Okoya apologized but insisted that ignorance of the law should not be assumed as an excuse.

He narrated in his last case of arrest for putting on police uniforms even though he offered apologies for the act.

VeryDarkMan also picked up the facts that law could be thrown to the teeth of Bobrisky and Cubana Chief Priest but should also apply to Raheem Okoya.

He said, “The law applies to everyone in Nigeria whether rich or poor.”

In the statements made by VeryDarkMan concerning the events, he said, “A video went viral yesterday showing Raheem Okoya, son of a wealthy man, tried to bribe a police officer. And after that video was trending, mutilation started on the naira.”

He continued, “First of all, there cannot be any ignorance in the law. Secondly, the police officer involved in this crime even pocketed more than his salary for him to cooperate.”

“The police officer was arrested but the son of the rich man hasn’t been touched. They must apologize, but that’s no good. There’s no special law for the rich. If the law is for the poor, it should be applicable to the rich.”

The upload of the video on social media raised a lot of worried people who went into the comment section to air their views.
