Ayra Starr – Sability
Ayra Starr – Sability

Mavin Records singer, Ayra Starr has released her first single of the year, “Sability.”

Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe was born on June 14, 2002 in Cotonou, Benin Republic, and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. She was born in Nigeria to Nigerian parents from Kwara State and has four siblings: Ade and Dami, two brothers, and two sisters, Tolulope and Jesutunmise. Because of her father’s business, her family relocated frequently during her high school years, and she struggled to make close relationships as a result.

She grew up in a musical family, and her interest in singing stems primarily from her family. She joined a high school choir at the age of ten and began writing songs with her brother. She graduated from Les Cours Sonou University with a BA in international relations and political science. Her peers ridiculed her because of her age and attractiveness during her college years. To cope with her sentiments of being mocked, Ayra Starr resorted to music, listening to Nicki Minaj on her walk to school. Ayra Starr’s mother was constantly encouraging her to pursue a singing career and was highly supportive of her musical goals.

“Sability,” Ayra Starr’s freestyle turn song, is an Afro-Pop record with a blend of her vocals. With London production credit.

Ayra Starr’s current single, “Sability,” features an interpolation from Awilo Longomba’s classic album, Coupé Bibamba.

Don Jazzy expressed his enthusiasm for Ayra Starr’s new song on Twitter, stating, “The ability to master and control your Sabiness before e become oversabi.”

Furthermore, Ayra Starr has abandoned the deluxe edition of her album “19 & Dangerous,” which was released last year.
