Asake – Lonely At The Top

Asake is a multi-talented Nigerian singer-songwriter and YBNL Nation member who has recently released a thrilling version named “Lonely At The Top.”

Nigerian Afrobeat musician Ahmed Ololade, often known as Asake or Mr. Money, is from the country.

He was born in Lagos State on January 13, 1995. Asake is Yoruba by tribe and hails from the southwestern region of Nigeria.

Mr. and Mrs. Ololade, who are of Yoruba descent, raised him in Lagos. While his mother is a teacher, his father runs a business.

Asake started dancing when he was quite young. He started performing and sharing his love of music when he was still in high school.

Asake’s freestyle song “Lady” went viral shortly after its release in 2020, introducing him to music fans.

Sydney Talker, NastyBlaq, and Broda Shaggi were among the Nigerian influencers and celebrities who were drawn to the song because of how prominent and famous it had become.

Asake released “Mr. Money” the following year after the success and positive reception of “Lady,” which led to three nominations for the City People’s Choice Award.

He was nominated for two out of the three awards, including Most Popular Song of the Year. He also appeared in the songs “Star” by Broda Shaggi and “Gegeti” by DJ Exclusive.

Later, he worked with Afrobeats musicians Zlatan and Peruzzi to remix his 2020 hit song “Mr. Money.”

He gained the moniker “Mr. Money” thanks to the song. Asake joined Olamide’s YBNL music record label in 2021.

Asake was introduced as the label’s newest member in February 2022. Asake later released his self-titled EP, “Ololade Asake,” after the announcement.
