Shatta Wale, widely known as the “King of Africa Dancehall,” is an inter Ghanaian dancehall musician who debuted in the music industry with the smash hit song “JJC.”
His stage name is Shatta Wale, formerly known as Bandana. Some of his most well-known tracks include “Dancehall King,” “My Level,” and “We Taking Over.” He’s also known for co-writing the song Already with Major Lazer for Beyoncé’s Black is King album.
In that regard, “1957,” his previous release, comes after this one.
