Native Nigerian singer, songwriter, and drummer, Chike is now booming the scene with his latest single called “What I know,” from his upcoming album, “Brother’s keeper.”
The great vocalist channeled the feelings of YBNL Nation’s creator and frontier Olamide, better known as Baddo, in the new smash song. The rapper, who is well-known for his ability to perform in multiple genres, played a key role in the new song’s popularity.
Chike-Ezekpeazu Osebuka, better known as CHIKE, is a Nigerian singer, composer, and actor. He is well-known for competing in the Nigerian reality show Project Fame West Africa and finished second on Season 1 of The Voice Nigeria.
In the competition round, he and another Team Patoranking participant played Mario’s “Let Me Love You,” and he was picked to advance to the next round. He received a save from his coach during the first week of live shows when he performed “Not the Girl” by co-coach Dare Art Alade.
He was spared by public vote during the second week of live programs when he performed The Weeknd’s “Earned It.” He also sang The Proclaimers’ “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” and earned his coach’s final save of the season. He performed “Pullover” by Kcee and Wizkid in the semi-finals. Chike closed the show with covers of Bob Marley and the Wailers’ “No Woman, No Cry” and Kiss Daniel’s “Mama.” He finished the season as the runner-up, with A’rese from Team Waje taking first place.
